It's not often an individual goes through life changing experiences. When one does, the results can be devastatingly bad. My life changing experience was "devastatingly bad".
I was arrested and imprisoned based on a complaint. The allegations were serious and if convicted of the alleged Federal white collar crime, it would have carried a harsh prison term. Fortunately, being represented by Attorney Jonathan Marks, I was able to fight the allegations successfully.
My case was very complicated. I am not a U.S citizen, therefore when I was detained by the authorities; I was in a foreign country. When I was arrested, I was with my companion. She traveled back home alone after my arraignment, and informed friends to help find me an attorney. They traveled to New York to find me a criminal defence attorney. As they met with dozens of high profile criminal law firms during the week they were in New York, the attorneys they met were convinced my chances of being released on bail were next to ZERO. My situation was deteriorating from bad to worse daily. My friends found Attorney Jonathan Marks. After they explained my difficult situation to Mr. Marks, Mr. Marks explained the process and complications of my release and with confidence, told my friends it was possible to have me released on bail to start.

In the months that followed Attorney Jonathan Marks worked diligently with me and put me on a path to gather evidence to build his case. With many discussions between himself and the U.S Attorney the case against me was weakening daily. His skillful planning and strategic positioning of the facts continued to weaken for the U.S attorney.
